My name is Jakob Lindsey, I’m the founder of Death Bloom Co. I’m a nurse practitioner, born and raised in the Midwest. I built this brand while balancing a demanding career, school, and real responsibilities.

At one point dark point in my life, I dealt with severe suicidal thoughts and came close to ending my life. That experience changed how I see everything, how I think, how I move, how I feel and what I choose to build.

Separately, working as a registered nurse and a travel nurse for many years has shown me the reality of life at its most raw. It’s a role that carries weight, and it’s shaped my perspective in a different way.

Death Bloom Co. was created from a place most people try to avoid. It came from the understanding that growth doesn’t happen in comfort, it happens in the dark, in the moments where things fall apart, where identity is questioned, and where you’re forced to rebuild yourself from nothing.

“Death” isn’t about an ending. It’s about shedding what no longer serves you. Old versions of yourself. Old expectations. Old limitations.

And “Bloom” is what comes after.

This brand exists for the people who have been through something. The ones who don’t fit into clean boxes. The ones who’ve had to fight, evolve, and become something stronger on their own terms.
